Charis Chocolates
Charis Chocolates is an entrepreneurial venture of City Rescue Mission that not only produces delectable chocolate treats but also empowers students in our LifeBuilders Recovery Program!
Our chocolates are made onsite at the Mission, with all net proceeds benefiting men and women battling hunger, homelessness and addiction. Through Charis Chocolates, our students gain valuable job training and workplace experience – which prepares them for life after they graduate from the program.
Charis Chocolates are crafted from a unique blend of European and American chocolate that is time-tested. Our chocolate suppliers were early pioneers in creating fine chocolate, using only the finest ingredients and techniques.
Our name Charis is Greek for grace, which means gratitude, unearned kindness and a free gift, undeserved from God. We operate our Mission on the grace model and believe that each of us is given grace; we are to in turn give grace to others.
